Across the world far-right politics and narratives are on the rise. And as campaigners it can feel like we are fighting to keep things as they are, rather than building the world that we want to live in.
We built the Campaign Accelerator as a collaborative planning process to help teams build creative and transformative advocacy campaigns that engage people in meaningful ways. And in this training we will be bringing together campaigners from across the sector to learn about designing people-centred campaigns, but to also to build strategies for change that resist and challenge far-right narratives.
That’s why we developed the Campaign Accelerator, a collaborative planning process that blends tried systems strategy tools with the best of design thinking, lean start-up principles, and participatory approaches to problem solving. The result? Greater insight, innovation and alignment, leading to greater campaign success.
Want to learn how to lead your own team through this effective approach to campaign planning? We’re excited to be releasing new dates for our revamped Campaign Accelerator Training!
How it works
The training is five days long, during which participants learn to:
- Uncover new opportunities to address the root causes of an issue through systems thinking
- Generate and test creative ideas to inspire and engage key audiences
- Foster a collaborative team culture that embraces learning and iteration throughout a project cycle
- Integrate new planning approaches that help established teams navigate increasingly complex environments
- Design people-centred campaign strategies and actionable campaign plans
This is a dynamic process. We brainstorm and experiment. We use virtual collaboration tools. We interact with our key audiences. We work together across disciplines and expertise, welcoming diverse perspectives.
The curriculum also includes a personalised coaching session with one of our expert trainers.

Pricing
Campaign Accelerator trainings use a sliding scale based on organisational budget. We charge a higher rate to well-resourced groups to enable colleagues from less well-resourced organisations to participate. The price includes the 5-day training and follow up coaching session, access to slide decks and training toolkit, and catering during the training hours (breaks and lunch).

We do not want cost to be a barrier to participation, and as such offer a limited number of spots at a subsidised rate. Please get in touch with us at accelerator@mobilisationlab.org as soon as possible to discuss what you would need to attend. Please note, that for the upcoming trainings we are not in a position to cover travel or accommodation costs to the city where the training will take place.
These subsidised spots are made possible thanks in part to the generous contributions of past participants. With an additional $500 or $1,000, you will make this training accessible to allies in the fight for a better world who couldn’t otherwise attend.
