Namrata Chowdhary (Nama, she/her) has been working in the international third sector since the early 2000s, campaigning on a wide range of issues in the global north and south. She began her career in India, but moved to Europe in the mid 2000s, and currently lives in the United Kingdom. She has worked with Greenpeace, World Animal Protection, and 350.org, and founded social change agency Cause Impact. An experienced advocacy strategist, systems thinker, and facilitator, she enjoys bringing people together to form strong alliances around intersecting social and environmental justice issues.

Nama is currently the Head of the Public Engagement department at 350.org but continues to serve on the Board of the Mobilisation Lab Collective and of her local Refugee and Migrant Network, and is a founding member of the Mizizi Project.
